the collision between matte and bright surfaces on cosmetic package

Today, I would like to introduce our newly cosmetics packaging series - gradient spray coating series, which shows elegance and romance to the extreme. Its design is inspired by the collision between matte and bright surfaces, It is matte and bright, soft and hard, like a dream.

Metal painting spraying

Spray plating process is a new type of absolutely environmentally friendly spraying technology that has emerged, aside from traditional water plating and vacuum plating. Using specialized equipment and specific water-based chemical raw materials, the principle of chemical reaction is applied to achieve the electroplating effect through direct spraying, resulting in a mirror-like highlight effect on the surface of the sprayed object, such as chrome, nickel, sand nickel, gold, silver, copper, and various colors (red, yellow, purple, green, blue) gradient.

The color of the spray paint technology compared with the spray coating is dark and dumb. Spraying is a processing method that atomizes the paint with a spray gun and applies it to the surface of the object. Gradient color spraying is a spraying equipment that uses more than two kinds of color coatings. By transforming the equipment structure, one color can slowly transition to another color, forming a new decorative effect. The equipment operation is relatively simple and efficient.

The main material used for silk screen printing is ink, so the effect after printing is obvious concave and convex. Regular silk screen bottles (cylindrical) can be printed in one go. Other irregular one-time fees. And the ink used is divided into two types: self-drying ink and UV ink. Self-drying ink is easy to fall off for a long time and can be wiped off with alcohol. UV ink has an obvious concave and convex feeling, which is difficult to erase.

Hot stamping

The main material for hot stamping is tin foil, which is very thin, so there is no concave and convex feeling of silk printing. However, hot stamping trademark has a strong metallic luster, which feels smooth and textured, and looks as bright as the mirror. It is best not to hot stamping directly on two materials, PE and PP. It needs to be hot transfer before hot stamping. Or if you have good bronzing paper, you can also blanch it directly. It can’t be hot stamping on aluminum and plastic, and hot stamping can be done on all plastic.

Summary

I believe that after understanding the basic principles of these processes, it is not difficult to find that the effect they present has a sense of contrast. This contrast comes from the collision between the spraying process and the painting process, and from the collision between screen printing and hot stamping printing. Because the effect of spraying and stamping has a metallic luster, which looks dazzling, like a mirror; but the effect of spray paint and silk printing does not have a metallic luster, but is more dull. Therefore, the collision between the matte surface and the bright surface effect creates the ultimate sense of elegance.
